AVA is looking for some volunteers to chip a bunch of branches. We'll need a chipper and people to run it. Limbs are up to 4" in diameter. There's 3-4 piles of green waste (pine, waddle & unknown) around the facility that need to be converted to chips -- which will be used to plant fruit trees (banana, lilikoi & papaya) for the players.
If interested, please contact me (Scottie). 298 9623
The County is running a community meeting to include the public on the Kanaha Park Master Plan. If you'd like to see more security, toilets, volleyball courts, watering fountains or whatnot, show up the meeting. They are drawing up the plans based on public opinions.
